Cristal diatomique cubique simple (type CsCl, B2-FeAl, β-NiAl). Groupe d'espace : Pm3m (221), notation Strukturbericht : B2.

Contrairement aux apparence, ce n'est pas une structure cubique centré, mais une cubique simple avec un motif diatomique à chaque nœud. Elle peut aussi être décrite comme deux sous-réseaux monoatomiques cubiques simples décalés d'une demie grande diagonale.

It is not, as one may first think, a centered cubic structure, but a simple cubic one with a two-atoms motto at each node. It can also be described as two monoatomic sub-lattices shifted by half the greatest diagonal.
