most of my contributions of images here are either to add something that I think is missing or to facilitate my contributions to the English Wikipedia or Wikidata.

If I crop an image that already exists to a rough square shape, it's probably to use it in a userbox on my enwiki userpage.

Usually, images I upload that I took myself are either CC-BY-SA or public domain depending on how attached I feel to a given image. Any text I personally wrote (as opposed to copied from somewhere else) into anywhere here, or on any Wikimedia project, is public domain.
