Summary
| Description |
English: An LED chaser device also called a running LED lamp, is a circuit built using a few ICs. The circuit contains decade counter/divider ICs like IC 4017, and a clock generator IC like IC 555. The IC 4017 has many outputs which are configured with LEDs. The IC 555 integrate electrical pulses at some frequency, which allows the IC 4017 to illuminate the connected LEDs in sequence, generating an LED chasing effect. The rate at which the LEDs "chase" or "run" can be altered or varied by changing the pulse rate of the IC 555 astable. |
