Bahasa Indonesia: Jaran Bodhag sebenarnya merupakan turunan dari kesenian lain yang lebih dulu ada yakni, Jaran Kencak. Hanya saja Jaran Bodhag tidak menggunakan kuda asli tetapi kuda tiruan dari bahan rotan dan kayu yang menyerupai kepala kuda. Jaran Bodhag dipentaskan dalam bentuk arak-arakan dan diiringi musik kenong telo dengan tambahan sronen (musik tradisional madura). Kostum pemain Jaran Bodhag memiliki corak gemerlap yang bertujuan untuk menarik perhatian penonton. Jaran Bodhag telah ditetapkan sebagai warisan budaya tak benda oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia pata tanggal 17 Oktober 2014. |
