Hi! I'm mainly active on English Wikipedia and Wikispecies, but I sometimes feel like tidying up and updating taxon related categories and images here on Commons. Sometimes I've uploaded images too, usually insect images imported from iNaturalist.

James Lindsey insect photos with wrong IDs

It should be pointed out that Lindsey's own website warns about identification errors at ; yet we seem to have trusted Lindsey's original IDs as uploaded, even though some IDs as shown below have since been corrected on this website. I have no expertise in insects myself, I have simply reverse Google-searched the images, and clicked "Find image source", and found the corresponding page on the commanster.eu website that now has the image. That said, so far I'm finding some external sites seem to confirm at least the new IDs are correct, and the IDs seem consistent with other images uploaded for the same species on Commons (when available).

This is an incomplete list, naturally, and maintained by just me until I can get others to look into this too.
