File:Vivenu logo black.png

Uploaded as own work, but this is clearly a corporate logo DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:55, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

Logo of a German company. Possibly below the threshold of originality in Germany (which to my knowledge is rather high), and thus might qualify for {{PD-textlogo}}. However, there's also the question of project scope which needs to be answered. Nakonana (talk) 10:21, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

Files in Category:Baptism certificates of the Philippines

These baptismal certificates are not yet {{PD-Philippines}}.

JWilz12345 (Talk|Contributions) 11:29, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

What is the threshold of originality in the Philippines? These look like very simple text documents without any notable creative prose. The graphic parts could fall under De minimis (especially the 2016 one) because they are not the focus of the photo (the photo is not meant to illustrate the logos/CoAs/ornaments but baptism certificates overall). If the graphic parts are not De minimis, they could be blurred. Nakonana (talk) 10:31, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
  • I wonder about this, too. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:42, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
Delete we don’t know what the Philippines’ standard even is so all not explicitly free graphic works from there should be presumed copyrighted and deleted. Dronebogus (talk) 02:06, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Screenshots displaying illegal software (software license key generators/cracks/..)

Btrs (talk) 12:30, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

Which in itself is not necessarily a valid reason for deletion. I'd say that the screenshots are in project scope for illustrating such illegal software. The things they display are also quite simplistic and don't seem very artistically creative, meaning that they might be below the threshold of originality. The only problematic part could be the software's (text) logo (and maybe some bits of the background). In line with that I'd say that File:Вот так выглядит программа KeyPack.gif should be  Deleteed because it contains more of the potentially copyrighted elements than the other screenshot. It also illustrates less of what makes this software illegal which makes the screenshot less interesting from an educational point of view.
I'd say  Keep File:Вот так выглядит список ключей при нажатии любой кнопки.gif for being in scope (and maybe blur the software logo to be on the safe side copyright-vise and to reduce risks of "promoting" this illegal software). As for the displayed, illegally generated product keys, I'd say they don't need blurring. The creator of the screenshot took quite the smart route with their choice of only displaying product keys for software that has been outdated for decades and is probably hardly in use anywhere these days, which makes the displayed product keys pretty useless to the vast majority of people who'd see this screenshot. The creator could have chosen to screenshot product keys for Windows 10 (as one can see in the options), but they chose the "safer" Windows 95 options instead. I think displaying Windows 10 product keys would have made it much more problematic from a legal point of view. Nakonana (talk) 10:53, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

File:Sani Araby tualiah PPJ APM.jpg

The claim of "own work" is highly doubtful. This image depicts a public official ceremony where Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad conferred an honorary appointment on Sani Araby (APM), dated 2 March 2019 in Langkawi. An almost identical photograph appears in a Harian Metro (Media Prima) news article covering the same event, indicating that this image is likely a news photograph taken by a press photographer, not by the uploader.(https://www.hmetro.com.my/mutakhir/2019/03/429040/mapim-apm-bakal-latih-sukarelawan) No evidence has been provided that the uploader is the original photographer or that the image was released under a free license by the copyright holder. ~2025-35026-57 (talk) 16:49, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

The source is a webapage of a newspaper, but there is no information it was published in Argentina in 1974. Also the photo is all over the web (even a colored one), so even if it were published in Argentina in 1974, it is not even clear it was published simultaneously in Argentina. We cannot keep it unless we have actual information about its publication. Günther Frager (talk) 17:40, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

File:Flag map of Morocco (Amazigh Flag).png

This file was initially tagged by Geoffroi as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: LTA uploads please see Com:AN/Blocks and protections Not an obvious copyvio, although the outline map would need to be credited. The flag is a real flag, associated with one of the peoples of that country: File:Berber flag.svg. Perhaps this should be deleted on some other region (I'd be happy to get rid of "flag maps" entirely; uploader appears to be an LTA), but I don't think we should speedy this as a copyvio. Jmabel ! talk 20:22, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

LTA upload. I tagged it as a copyvio because I didn't see an LTA sockmaster option. Please stop helping and coddling sockmasters. You're making this way too hard on patrollers. Should we duscuss this at AN/U? Geoffroi 20:30, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
