Kura upload project

by the way I'm working on a Python script and pipeline to upload images from Kura (the brand name for Auckland Libraries' instance of the OCLC's CONTENTdm CMS) for use with OpenRefine. I'm still working things out but the script is up on Codeberg and the first test with this pipeline is a bunch of CC BY images from Polyfest 2015! mainly this consists of pulling a specific collection from Kura, using minimal wikitext where possible but manually templating into said wikitext via Python f-strings if not (i.e. descriptions and tags). The image is pulled along with its metadata which is then appended to a large JSON blob which will contain everything to feed to OpenRefine later.

Te Ara do not own the copyright to images, the real source can be found by clicking on the image and scrolling down to 'Using this item'. Some images may be free, and some are not, though some pictures taken by government agencies may be CC-licensed via their copyright policy. same for DigitalNZ, they are an aggregator and don't actually own any images

assorted pictures to relabel/reupload

(this is a really annoying problem on Vernon sites (MOTAT, Fletcher Trust Archives, etc.) where people don't actually take copies of images from the xlarge endpoint... also happens with Kura pictures as well, though hopefully that can be sorted out once I start making that contentDM to Commons pipeline...)
