This template removes all categories within its input. It is mostly useful when providing preview versions of a template that adds one or more categories to the page, because adding categories to the template's page is usually not appreciated.

Usage

{{decat
|1 =
}}

|1= is the text you want to decat.

Example

{{decat|1=This is a test case [[Category:Test]]}}

Returns:

This is a test case
