Old print from W.H. Moss and Sons. Pre-1927 is still a vague time period given this could have been published anytime from the 1880s to the 1920s. More information needed to determine if this is out of copyright. Abzeronow (talk) 05:18, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

UK copyright, we would need to know W.H. Moss and Sons had a known author or this was work submitted by an unknown author who cannot be traced. Abzeronow (talk) 01:42, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
I would argue that it can be considered an anonymous work if there is no visible photographer credit and no other information reasonably available. It could also be covered by our orphan works provision if we have made a reasonable and unsuccessful effort to locate the author or their heirs. Phillipedison1891 (talk) 22:41, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

That's not a reason to delete a file. However, the authorship/license info seems to be incorrect and need to be corrected in order to be kept. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 19:02, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Files in Category:Book covers from Shan

The copyright status of the works is unclear, but they looks old. They are claimed as "own work," but photographing or scanning a book cover does not automatically make it uploaders own work. Information regarding the publication dates of the books and authors name are missing. Are they still living? With the correct information, they are maybe {{PD-Myanmar}} eligible. Otherwise, delete.
