File:3D point cloud statue Pentti Eskola Ladimo technology.jpg
Summary
| Description |
English: The image describes a measurement of a 3D-point cloud from a statue (famous mineralogist Pentti Eskola) using a technology named Laser diffraction monofotogrammetry (Ladimo). Ladimo technology is a way to combine fotogrammetry, laser technology and mathematical modelling to achieve high precision point cloud data for real time applications in machine vision: robotics, industrial automation and driverless vehicles. Image is taken in invisible area of infrared spectrum using a modified mirrorless Olympus camera. |
