Description
English: Merlin's Cave, viewed from Tintagel Castle in Cornwall. The beach is the location where, according to local legend, the wizard Merlin plucked the infant Arthur from the sea. The legend of the rescue itself itself was made famous in Tennyson's work Idylls of the King.
