Use this template if an image is used from Commons on one of the root portals that are not generated by MediaWiki-install and thuss won't show up in "File usage" and/or "Global usage". The template checks the protectionlevel of the upload-action and categorizes unprotected ones in Category:Unprotected files used on portal pages.
