Best bet
Your best bet really would be to provide that documentation to someone, it would settle this whole mess. Silverseren5 (talk) 17:54, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
The way this turned out
I'm really sorry for the way this turned out, I'm frankly disgusted by the witch-hunt mentality we seem to have going on. To my mind, no matter what your past, and frankly I don't believe the "evidence", you've been a good contributor here, and I am really sorry to see you go. I hope you have better luck with the next community you choose to join. If you ever want to chat, come and hang out in ## on the AfterNET IRC server. -mattbuck (Talk) 03:37, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- I might come back in a few months, or a year, or a few years. But i think that if i spend more time working on Anarchopedia, it'll be more beneficial to the world right now. VolodyA! V Anarhist Beta_M (converse) 04:14, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- I understand that this witch hunt must be very hard for you and I'm impressed that you have been able to remain calm for so long. I hope that you will be feeling better soon and that you will be able to return to Commons. --Stefan4 (talk) 14:43, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- +1 - as written twice via email. Sorry that it went that way. --Saibo (Δ) 16:07, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

- @Darkweasel94: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Undeletion_requests/Current_requests#Files_in_Category:Recordings_of_Richard_Stallman.27s_talks. Please use the documented link rot tools in future, DW.--Elvey (talk) 17:57, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Elvey (talk · contribs), thank you for notifying me of this undeletion request, but I do not understand what you mean by "documented link rot tools" which I should have used for anything. Could you explain? darkweasel94 18:26, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Link rot tools documentation can be found, e.g. at en:WP:LINKROT. Understand? Useful whenever a link is dead, as was the case here. You wrote, "it isn't possible to verify whether any license is specified there or not". That was not true. --Elvey (talk) 19:19, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
- No, I did not write that. Stefan4 (talk · contribs) did. My nomination had nothing to do with dead links. darkweasel94 19:31, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

File tagging File:Bookbits - 2009-11-16 Warren Berger-Glimmer.vorb.oga
This media was probably deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Bookbits - 2009-11-16 Warren Berger-Glimmer.vorb.oga. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Bookbits - 2009-11-16 Warren Berger-Glimmer.vorb.oga]]) and the above demanded information in your request. |
