Hello - thank you for providing images to the wikimedia commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to the commons should be useful to all users of wikimedia projects - this is possible only if the images can be found by other people. To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should either place the images on topic pages (galleries), or put the images directly into a category, or do both. Which of those possibilities is preferred is however a matter of debate, see here.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There is a large number of completely unsorted images on the commons right now, see Commons:Really unused. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do! Thank you.

Oh, and another thing: Please always name the creator of an image. If you made it yourself, pleas say so explicitely or use a tag that says so. Have a look at Commons:Copyright tags. Thanks -- Duesentrieb 17:25, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Karta pamięci

Ciężko powiedzieć... Jako przedmiot codziennego użytku nie będący dziełem, powinien raczej się obronić tak jak zdjęcia samochodów. Uchodzę za lepiej zorientowanego w prawach autorskich, ale też często mam wątpliwości. Przeczytaj dokładnie Commons:Derivatiwe work, może coś znajdziesz na obronę tego zdjęcia. Tak chodzi o te 70 lat, w ustawie o prawie autorskim są one liczone od roku kalendarzowego następującego po wydarzeniu ustalającym czas ochrony praw majątkowych (czyli np. śmierci autora lub daty wydania w przypadku dzieł anonimowych), czyli jeśli auor umarł w 1935, to prawa autorskie do jego dzieł wygasają 1 stycznia 2006. You are receiving this message as you have previously participated in one of the Wiki Loves X campaigns or are an active Wikimedia Commons contributor.

We’re excited to announce that the Wiki Science Competition 2025 in India is being organized for the very first time at a national level. This global campaign celebrates science through freely licensed images, videos, and other media on Wikimedia Commons. By participating, you help make science more visible, accessible, and inspiring to people everywhere.

The competition features eight exciting categories:

1. People in Science
2. Microscopy
3. Astronomy
4. Everyday Science
5. Scientific Equipment
6. Chemistry
7. Physics
8. Special Category

Campaign Duration: The competition will run from 1 November to 15 December 2025. You can upload your images anytime during this period.

Images taken before 1 November 2025 are also eligible, as long as they have never been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons before.

We’re excited to introduce the first-ever dedicated "Mobile Photography" participation option. Now, you can upload photographs taken with your mobile phone directly through a special upload wizard.

This new option is designed to encourage students and individuals who may not have access to high-end cameras like DSLRs to participate.
