Translation Admin request

I have recently started to translate the policy, guideline and activity pages to Chinese and worked several years. However, some of the pages do not marked to enable the translate module. Therefore, I tried to design some pages that can be translated (like this). In order to check and let the pages transfer to the translation mode quickly, I hereby apply to join the translation admin team to do more contribution. Could you prepare the full page for translation in accordance with i18n guidelines? TOC's will get messed up when the headings are translated in a different language. You do not wrap a huge content in one translate wrapper unless there is no such a breaker. List items are dealt with separately, while paragraphs with headings receive only single pair of wrappers. OK, a few comments. Markup looks good in general, but please always insert an empty line after each section header to split header and following text into different translation units. Also a few tvar's could be added (e.g. for email addresses). If there is contant that is not shown to users (within <!-- -->) I would recommend to exclude it from translation as well. I also want to note that tvar's do not need to be unique for the whole page, just for the individual translation unit. So once you have closed a translation tag or have an empty line you may start again with tvar name=1 etc. --Ameisenigel (talk) 13:34, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
