  By far the biggest part of the Meuse water however passes to the Northsea through other, more southern located parts of the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta

  Near Willemstad the two largest inlets of the Northsea through which most of the Meuse water passes (the Haringvliet and the Volkerak) meet each other.
• 
  Hellevoetsluis is situated on the northern border of the Haringvliet.
• 
  Stellendam is situated on the southern border of the Haringvliet.
• 
  The Meuse water passing through the more southern of both inlets (the Volkerak) before merging into the Northsea gets into the Grevelingen , which by now is a lake as a result of the Delta Works .
• 
  But there's a fourth (the most southern) sea inlet through which part of the Meuse water passes. It's called the Ooster Schelde and the water gets there from the Grevelingen through the Mastgat.
• 
  And more than that, from this fourth sea inlet through an even more southern side arm, (the Veerse Meer (Veere lake) ), a relatively small part of the Meuse water also reaches the town of Veere, situated on the northern border of this lake (in the province of Zeeland .
