The Barringer Crater, also known as the Meteor Crater, is a famous impact crater created by a meteorite, located about 55 kilometers east of Flagstaff in the northern Arizona desert. Its coordinates are 35°1′38″N 111°1′22″W / 35.02722°N 111.02278°W / 35.02722; -111.02278
