Deutsch: Die Gemeinde hat das seit 1444 nachweisbare Wappen der berühmten Zisterzienserabtei Aldersbach übernommen, die das Leben im Gemeindegebiet seit dem 12. Jahrhundert prägte. Dem Abteiwappen wurde die Krümme eines Abtstabs hinzugefügt, um auf die Bedeutung der Klosterhofmark und deren Grund- und Niedergerichtsherrschaft bis zur Säkularisation 1803 hinzuweisen. |
