My name is Evgenii Salganik. I'm a sea ice researcher and photographer from Saint Petersburg living in Bremerhaven. I work at the Alfred Wegener Institute, and I previously worked at the Norwegian Polar Institute, with my PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. I participated in several Arctic expeditions, including MOSAiC, GoNorth 2022, and CONTRASTS 2025.
