A preferred naming standard for CoA images is "XXX_xxxxxxxxxxxx_COA.svg" where:

XXX is the ISO 639-3 code of the language or country/nation,
_ inbetween space (␢) or underscore^{[clarification needed – October 2024Category:Pages needing clarification]},
xxxxxxxxxxxx is the descriptive name of the shield, may contain spaces,
_ inbetween space (␢) or underscore^{[clarification needed – October 2024Category:Pages needing clarification]},
COA is a constant value,
.svg (or other file name extension).
