I'd like to have permissio to overwrite files so that I can submit improved versions on the project diagrams, for instance File:Shark Anatomy.svg is a very useful and needed diagram and well done, but I need to trim the margins and change some of the line and word contrast as the student has finished the course. @Earthdirt, you didn't care to read the note at the top of this page bcoz if you did, you wouldn't have written this request at the top of the section. Also, you used URLs instead of internal wikilinks. I had to make some fixes in your request (See Revision #1229435080). I think you probably need to work a bit more on Commons before getting autopatrol. In the meantime, you can request to overwrite files at COM:OWR. I'm not saying that you couldn't, just stating that since it is an own work (and not hosted elsewhere), you should either get permission to overwrite from the author or upload a separate file with your corrections. There is a major backlog in Category:Charts and Category:Example category with a need to sort the pages into more specific categories. @Abzeronow ever since FM was revoked, Heylenny has made 25 RRs, all successful. But if we stick to understanding the scope of the Criterions, see the request at Revision #1220799382 (carried out at Revision #1220799465), it was made under FR2 (the same highlighted criterion). If you would ask me, it should've been made under FR3. The name wasn't meaningless or ambiguous but needed corrections for obvious errors. That said, I would still like to hear @Didym and @Grand-Duc. Well, for one, mixing up FR2 and FR3 is quite common. Normally, it would be within the responsibility of the filemover to correct such mistakes in rationales, but it doesn't do much harm when a basically valid renaming request is linked to a not-so-fitting rationale. I often upload files with the smartphone or on the tablet in a running (and unfavorably wobbling) train and therefore unfortunately cause more or less regularly typos in the file names (and detect them when including the files in an article later), so it would be helpful to have the file mover right. Hello Aafi, Kadı, Long story short:

1. I was tracking a globally locked LTA who is banned by the Foundation.
2. ​This vandal fabricated false evidence and framing them against me.
3. ​The local admins blindly believed his fabrications and blocked me based on them.
4. When I tried to defend myself and explain that the charges were completely fabricated, they just deleted my appeal.
5. When I filed a case with U4C against them, they blocked me again They gave me a permanent block, but downgraded it to 6 months (for page moves and creation) after the case escalated.
6. ​This severe administrative abuse is now under official review by the U4C.

Thank you very much for this clarification. I initially did not know that this right was limited exclusively to Wikimedia Commons. I thought I could also use it on Wikipedia in order to prevent our newcomers from being reprimanded by other patrollers!

Nevertheless, as you may notice, copyright is very strict and severe in Togo, and we often do not have enough time to teach everything to newcomers before they start contributing. The consequence is that these newcomers face warnings and blocks that discourage them. Having this right would allow me to follow them closely.

I am not sure how this right will allow @you "to follow them closely" or protect them from warnings and blocks. Bcoz warnings and blocks are made only when there is an issue with the users contributions. All this right does is give users a button to mark other users edits as patrolled.
