English: San Diego, Calif. (Dec. 27, 2004) - Texas Tech Head Coach Mike Leach presents Air Traffic Controller 1st Class Mitchel Deshotel a team jersey and making him an honorary team captain. Deshotel will join the team during the game at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) hosted the 27th Pacific Life Holiday Bowl luncheon for players from the “Golden Bears” of University of California and the “Red Raiders” of Texas Tech University.
