  • Support Delete all which are more than simple words and shapes. All are temporary works of art and therefore cannot be used according to UK copyright, several of these get covered under this. 2A02:C7D:781C:7700:4867:8F8B:9FF:DF6A 18:30, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
  • RESPONSE I oppose mass deletions with out individual reasoning on principle. I accept that some are derivative and sadly must go if the reason is strong enough. I also oppose anonymous IP comments. The simplest way is to split the list - and explain the reasoning for each image. Here goes.

So can we start again and have a response for each image, Jim, I don't want you to develop a persecution complex- so you could pop over to my place and discuss it over a coffee!

  • Oppose. The images of the Demonic Cummings puppet are of a 3D sculpture. (One of them is the only likeness used in the article on the English Wikipedia .) Hallucegenia (talk) 09:16, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
@Hallucegenia: Please, can you read COM:FOP UK? None of them are 3D objects and/or artistic craftsmanship works, therefore we can safety delete em. --

File:Peoples Vote March October 3959 Demonic Cummings sculpture.jpg
Hi, Liuxinyu970226. I've read COM:FOP UK. I don't understand what you are getting at. Are we talking about the same image? You say "None are 3D objects", and the original dletion proposal says that it's an "image of a 2D work".
But the image "File:Peoples Vote March October 3959 Demonic Cummings sculpture.jpg" (see thumbnail right) is an image of three-dimensional objects, both with at least some artistic originality. If this image is not allowed on commons because it is a 2D photograph of a copyrighted 3D sculpture, then that's fair enough. But that's not the rationale for deletion given above. • Mild support removal. The T-shirt at the bottom is plainly 2D art of recent creation. The previous point also is on two procedural counts wrong: it is a parody not a "likeness" which offends serious art; and "them" refers to two crafted character-parody craftworks. One should crop the image if one insists on pushing it through into the Commons. Though why one considers this art is highly dubious.Adam37 (talk) 19:32, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
  •  Delete Per above, FOP UK can't apply to them. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 10:40, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
  •  Delete These are not permanent artworks, sadly they can't take advantage of FOP. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:33, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
  • The fire station and the youth club are buildings that incidentally include a 2D work on their walls. Peter James (talk) 12:42, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
  • 'Elaine School, Strood 4795', 'Dump Trump Buck House new suit sir 1850', 'Strood Community Trail marker Rede Common Local Nature Reserve 4848' and 'November Fifth Evening 4178' have no or de minimis copyrightable content, and so should be kept, as should any others where that applies.Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:33, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

Deleted: Most files deleted, as COM:FOP UK applies only to 3D works permanently available to the public. None of the files presented met that standard (designs on clothing etc are seperable and treated as 2D works). A few may be below the threshold of originality in the UK or are covered by COM:DM. They have been kept, but may be renominated with more specific rationales if necessary. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 03:13, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
