Description

This volume is a catalog of bird specimens collected on the eastern Pacific Ocean from July 1967 to May 1968 for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Fields include field #, species, date, location/coordinates, weight (grams), fat, sex, reproduction, remarks, cat. no., and disp. Field numbers span from 140001 to 140370, 50105 to 50110, 52031 to 52039, and 110076 to 110081. Species include Oceanodroma spp., Endomychura spp. [Synthliboramphus spp.], Ptychoramphus aleuticus, and others. Locations include an area of the Pacific Ocean bounded approximately by 30∞ N to 36∞ N and 117∞ to 125∞ W as well as Guadalupe Island [Isla Guadalupe], San Benitos Islands [Islas San Benito], and other islands of Mexico in the Pacific Ocean. The cat. no. field indicates that collections were made by several individuals, identified by initials: RDC, TJL, BAH, LNH, and others
