Bahasa Indonesia: Ojung adalah seni tradisional dua orang yang saling menyabetkan rotan ke badan lawan. Seni tradisional Ojung dapat ditemui di beberapa daerah di Jawa Timur, seperti di Bondowoso, Madura, juga di Pegunungan Tengger.
Tetapi setiap daerah mempunyai maksud dan tujuan berbeda dengan menggelarnya kesenian ini. Masyarakat Bondowoso akan menggelar kegiatan budaya Ojung ketika menginginkan hujan turun. Berbeda lagi dengan Madura, tujuan menggelar acara ini untuk menghindari bencana. Dan untuk masyarakat Tengger hanya akan menggelar Ojung di setiap perayaan Hari Raya Karo. |
