English: على بعد 30 كم من العاصمة الأردنية عمان، وعلى سفوح مرتفعات البلقاء، تقع مدينة السلط، رابع أكبر مدن المملكة سكاناً.. تلك المدينة، سميت قديماً بـ "سالتوس"، نسبة إلى القائد اليوناني الذي فتحها زمن الإسكندر المقدوني وبني فيها معبداً للإله "زيوس" في منطقة "زي" التي نسبت اليه
