Koordinaten in Dateibeschreibung nachgetragen

Ich frage hier auf deutsch. Bei diesem Bild [File:Zella Bahnstrecke Gotha-Leinefelde Haltepunkt Breitenbich 2025 19.jpg] hat der BotMultichillT die Koordinaten nachgetragen. Das ist bei diesem Bild kein Problem für mich (bei anderen Bildern könnte es mich stören). Woher hat der Bot die Koordinaten hergenommen?. Waren die in den Metadaten/Eigenschaften des Bildes drin? Das würde mich wundern, da ich alle persönlichen Eigenschaften (einschließlich der Koordinaten) der Bilder vor dem hochladen entferne. Oder wurden die Koordinaten einfach für den Haltepunkt Breitenbich ermittelt und hier nachgetragen? Oder sind die Koordinaten noch in den Bildeigenschaften versteckt drin und für mich aber nicht mehr sichtbar, obwohl ich sie entfernt hatte? Geograph / Wycombe geocoding

Hi, I think GeographBot might be adding the wrong location of creation (P1071) location to files taken in High Wycombe (Q64116), although it's possible there's an upstream problem.

For context, High Wycombe (Q64116) is an unparished town, meaning there is no assosciated Civil Parish (or borough or district), but it is entirely surrounded by Civil Parishes, and is the only place in Buckinghamshire Unitary Authority like this. If it's ever needed, this OSM relation matches the official unparished area map .

Until 2020, High Wycombe was in Wycombe (Q548974) (District Council) along with 28 other Civil Parishes, so images were correctly added under Category:Wycombe District. However GeographBot is still adding images under the Category eg .

I would propose changing all images to location of creation (P1071) High Wycombe (Q64116) (excepting outliers) and categorising them under Category:High Wycombe like was, however it is unclear what is causing the bot to pick one cat or the other. Please could you look into this.

@Tæppa: interesting problem I use a tool made by User:Edward: https://edwardbetts.com/geocode/detail?lat=051.625613&lon=-000.746458 which currently returns admin level 8 Category:Wycombe_District / Wycombe (Q548974).
My guess is that https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/15648083 isn't picked up because it links to High Wycombe Community Board (Q132133375): Community Board of Buckinghamshire Council instead of to High Wycombe (Q64116): town in Buckinghamshire, England. An organization is not a location and the item isn't linked to a category here. Multichill (talk) 17:35, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Without getting too into politics, I think I agree that that the current set up that I established of "community boards" on WD isn't ideal and possibly complicates parishes and wards (as well as organisations and boundaries). By my calculations, there are at least 2 exclaves of "High Wycombe Unparished Area" that aren't in wards covered by "High Wycombe Community Board". I'm ignoring "High Wycombe Town Committee" and "High Wycombe Charter Trustees" for now.
The OSM relation https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/15648083 is only coextensive with "High Wycombe Unparished Area", so ideally that would be used for geocoding. If not, might it be possible to set up a temporary redirect for the ~700 files currently in Category:Wycombe District? Tæppa (talk) 18:17, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
