- I disagree. Why do you want all videos which I upload ??? You have the right not to like these videos. But that's not a reason to ask for their removal. A same discussion is available here : https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/Files_in_Category:Lego_brickfilms
- --ComputerHotline (talk) 06:04, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- If you continue to upload copyright violations your videos will continue to be marked for deletion. That is kinda how it works here. I am absolutely shocked that you have been here for 9 years and have 150,000 edits and do not understand derivative works. Please, please, read COM:DW. If multiple people are telling you that this is not ok perhaps you should take that under consideration. --Majora (talk) 20:13, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
{{Vd}}I thought Playmobil was very old, but it was only invented in 1974: Playmobil. - Alexis Jazz 13:38, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
Delete on the Playmobil. Lego needs to be looked at more closely. Lego bricks are not copyrighted, some newer minifigs and builds from the Lego manual could be though. - Alexis Jazz 14:06, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

- The lego bricks may not be copyrighted, although I doubt that and Lego has a notice detailing their position on such things, the figures certainly are. These would constitute TOYS and would need to be treated as derivative works just like all other toys. --Majora (talk) 20:26, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Are you saying you doubt whether or not the bricks are copyrighted? They are not. Imitation Lego usually has minifigs as well, so I doubt a minifig in general can be copyrighted either. Any notice from Lego should be taken with a grain of salt, they have fought against imitation sets in pretty aggressive ways. An interesting quote from that notice:
- "For example, say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGO BRICKS". Never say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGOs"."
- Sure thing, I won't Google your LEGOs. Because by doing that I would commit genericide against Google and Lego. It's obvious why they don't want it but that doesn't make it law.
- That doesn't take away that any complete set from the Lego manual would generally be protected by copyright. Some non-generic minifigs or other large pieces (like this dragon) are probably protected as well. If a photo or video shows only (or mostly) basic building elements and original constructions (not from the manual) I think those can be considered free. - Alexis Jazz 20:35, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

Deleted: per nomination. The issue is that the stop-motion animators do not have the legal capacity to fully license their works since they are pretty clearly derivative works of the copyrighted LEGO/Playmobil figurines. Many of these are probably fine on Youtube, given that there would likely be a decent Fair use argument, but since we accept only media that are free for anybody to use for any purpose, we do not accept Fair use media. --Storkk (talk) 09:50, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

Comment - Actually COM:DM might apply here, because removal of any one poster would not affect the image. Which is a stupid application of DM, but it's the way the law works. -mattbuck (Talk) 19:42, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

- On second thought I'm not sure. Shazam comes up with a bunch of matches for these songs, but none of them are consistent across the file - are these recordings AI-generated? ComputerHotline - if these are pieces your own work, can you explain what tools you used to produce them? Omphalographer (talk) 23:31, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
- Some IA tools. I'm noticing that more and more people are trying to delete my OWN creations. It's starting to get annoying!!!! Shazam makes sometimes some mistakes too. --ComputerHotline (talk) 04:50, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
Kept: no reason to think these audio files are not produced by uploader. --Ellywa (talk) 16:49, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
