File:Surface relief preserves the total surface vector 2.svg

Summary

Description
English: Adding elevation (depression in this image) or relief to a surface does not change the total surface vector. The horizontal surfaces are clearly conserved, albeit at different elevations. The green colored vertical surfaces sum to their initial value above the lower red surface, and sum to 0 beneath the lower red surface.
