The Denver and Rio Grande Western K-36 class Steam locomotive #480 was built for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (DRGW) by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1925. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&SNG) operates 45 miles (72 km) of 3 ft (914 mm) track between Durango and Silverton, in the US state of Colorado. The railway is a federally designated National Historic Landmark and is also designated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. Deutsch: Der Dampfzug der Museumseisenbahn der Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&SNG) steht im Bahnhof der historischen Bergbaustadt Silverton in Colorado, USA. Die Dampflokomotive 480 wurde 1925 in der Lokomotivfabrik Baldwin Locomotive Works für die Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (DRGW) gebaut. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&SNG) fährt auf der 72 km langen Schmalspurbahn von 914 mm Breite zwischen Durango und Silverton. Sie ist seit 1961 eine National Historic Landmark und ist in das National Register of Historic Places eingetragen.
