English: Comparison of two double-slit interference patterns, both with a center-to-center distance of 0.250 mm. The top pattern was produced by 0.08 mm slits, the bottom pattern by 0.04 mm slits. Image made with the open body of a digital camera, approximately 15 cm behind the slits.
