 Keep good quality, fairly accurate, and consistent style which some may prefer. It doesn't have to be used on a Wikipedia; Commons isn't just for that but also uses outside of any Wikimedia projects. I don't think there's any other set of dog images in a consistent style and this watercolor style may be well suited for various applications. Also illustrates the use of AI tools for illustrations-in-one-style uses. Prototyperspective (talk) 16:22, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
 Delete except File:Border collie in watercolour.png which is in use. Superficial "good quality", pictures looking "nice", is typical of AI slop and certainly no reason to keep this kind of images which are easily generated on the fly by anyone who really thinks they need to use AI, and such images have basically no place on Commons, as they have no educational, scientific, or artistic value. However, I'm an advocate of strictly honoring COM:INUSE and not overriding other projects, so keep the one file which is in use in Romanian Wikipedia, even though I personally think there's no good reason to use it there. I used AI where there were no illustrations for the article. At the same time, the prompt is designed to present the specifics of a particular fairy tale from a specific ethnic community. I support removing AI-generated images where illustrations are available. However, if there are no illustrations and the images are high-quality, they have a right to exist. Since uploading the video, I have gained a much better understanding of the legal issues involved, and despite the previous discussion/deletion request, I would once again recommend that the video be deleted. For one thing, I can see that it contains non-free content (e.g. 0:23), and for another, I do not believe that N24 would be legally able to relicense the press content under a CC-BY license (0:15 comes from Reuters (https://www.businessinsider.de/tech/das-leben-von-google-gruender-und-alphabet-chef-larry-page-2016-3/)). Dear mister,
it is sad to see that someone who knows nothing about Hugo Vos, now states that I have not made this picture myself.
That person was not present during taking this picture. I was and made it myself. It was taken at 14 july 2012, when Hugo Vos was present in the home of his doughter, celebrating the 80th birtday of Hugo Vos' wife.
I am very dissapointed in Wikipedia how this article was badly commented, removed and now also the picture that went together with the article.
Hugo Vos was a master painter. You can read details of his carrrierre in the removed article and his exposures also. Maybe in a too small country Belgium (somewhere in the middle of Europe, which is not know in the whole world.) No existe ninguna otra imagen, ya que el monasterio se destruyó en 1559. El problema del dibujo de Cardedera es que es muy tenue en sus trazos y cuesta interpretarlo. Por eso me decidí ha realizar una recreación mediante inteligencia artificial, para que así se puedan apreciar mejor sus características sin distorsionar el dibujo original. Los colores se ajustan al tipo de materiales que se usaron en su construcción. Please refer to Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems#Uploads by Fabe56 where this uploader has uploaded multiple files uncritically from Flickr. This tranche is a set of pictures of random unnamed people at what appears to be a private event together with pictures of the venue and artefacts present there. Some are copyvios. Even though the Flicker licence is acceptable, they appear to be a collection of private pictures, possibly containing the uploader in some cases, possible in none. They appear to have no educational value. Commons is not a host for private pictures. This diff where the uploader states "All my upload must be deleted ASAP, so do not waste time here." may be relevant.

Charles Gonthier was a judge of the Supreme Court of Canada and this is one of the two pictures of him at the Commons category for Charles Gonthier. It is used in the English Wikipedia article on Gonthier. It is clearly notable (licensing issues aside; I don’t know enough about the licensing policy to comment.) Useless file: This coat of arms that has been created as the one of a commune, as the file name states, although it's one of an abbey, by a user who seems determined to indiscriminately reproduce—without regard for their potential usefulness to the encyclopedia (i.e., without even considering whether there is at least one article to illustrate, or if there is already a file in use for the purpose)—all the figures found in the Armorial général de France volumes or listed in the most commonly used source armorialdefrance.fr, has a very common—or rather, non-existent—design, and since a nameless CoA file is already in use for the Abbey of Grandmont, there is no point in keeping this file, just as there was no point in uploading it in the first place, especially considering that there are already redundant files of this type.

Ciao, per questioni di licenza in linea di principio non è possibile caricare immagini prese da internet; le uniche immagini ammesse sono quelle scattate direttamente da te, e di cui quindi sei detentore di copyright, e quelle in libero dominio (la pubblicazione in pubblico dominio deve essere espressamente dichiarata). Prendere un'immagine da facebook e caricarla come "opera propria" non è consentito. Detto ciò l'attuale immagine è stata scattata da un noto utente tedesco, e se la vedi in giro nel web è perché chi la usa l'ha presa da wikipedia, e non viceversa, quindi chi sta violando il copyright sono loro. I am just unsure of the license's status. It originates from a recording (US 1918), however I traced it back to a community that was responsible for digitising it and they use a non commercial license for their website . In case it's CC Non commercial, deletion shall be enforced.

 Delete Personal file not used by the uploader or at all and thus out of scope. Commons hosts educational images, not pretty ones. There are other outlets for hosting pretty images. I don't think the fact that a given category does not otherwise contain "modern digital art" on a subject means it should. @Prototyperspective: with all due respect—and I do like a lot of the images you create—you seem to be fighting what I presume would be a frustrating uphill battle to get Commons to accept this sort of images. I'm not fighting an uphill battle. I'm applying reasoning to Commons matters. Why should we have lots of different free media platforms, the whole point of Commons is to centralize and aggregate things so files can be easily found, organized, used, etc. There is no good reason to delete a file like this. Maybe worry about the thousands of blurry or otherwise actually useless files Commons holds instead of deleting very few individual files like this that are of good quality and possible some of the best 5% Commons has to offer. If an image is basically the only one or one of very few of a type of media very common in society for a major topic then it's just a waste of time and effort to delete this. Nobody is helped by that. Such files already have lots of credibility; lots of people and organizations use such extensively throughout all sorts of applications which just shows how the subjective opinion of a few people on Commons is rather arbitrary and not well-suited to delete files of a type they object but which is used and appreciated by millions out there. According to the coordinates of the camera position, this photo was taken in Taradeau, France. I think it has a certain flair due to the colors of the golden hour, and I recommend to keep it, althout is wasn't sufficiently well described until now.
