Einsortierungen in streets and squares
Hallo! Die jüngsten Einsortierungen in die Category:Streets and squares in Rheinzabern kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Hier sollten eigentlich nur Bilder und Kategorien von Straßen und (befestigten und i. d. R. benannten) Plätzen rein. Viele Grüße P170 (talk) 15:17, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
- Das hatte ich schon vermutet, wie sortiert man sie dann ein? In der Hauptkategorie zur Gemeinde sollten ja eher verwaltungsspezifische Medien einsortiert sein, oder ist das anders?

- Falls Du im Fall Westheim die Landesstraßen meinst: Die sind ja auf den Fotos zu sehen (wenngleich sie jeweils nicht die Hauptrolle spielen). In einer idealen Kategorienstruktur ist in der Hauptkategorie zur Gemeinde gar nichts drin, ansonsten hilfsweise eben doch :-) Den (Weg am) Friedhof und den Brunnen würde ich nach meinem Geschmack noch rausnehmen, da ersterer eben nur ein Weg und keine Straße ist (hier wieder zur Erklärung: Die Dr. Georg-Heeger-Allee in Westheim ist zwar auf dem Bild nur ein Fußweg, aber hat ein Straßenschild und ist am nördlichen Ende auch tatsächlich kurz eine Straße) und der Ort des Brunnens noch unbekannt ist (ich vermute mal, dass das kein größerer Platz ist). Noch ganz by the way: Die Sortierungen von Kategorien erfolgen bei Eigennamen mit Buchstaben (Beispiel: Straßenkategorien) und ansonsten ohne Registerbuchstabe. - Also in erster Linie versuche ich mich an die Regeln zu halten, aber da ich nicht alles erfragen kann, schaue ich mir das halt ab, wie es vermutlich richtig ist. Aber korrigieren lässt sich das ja zum Glück immer 😉
- Ich habe die Bilder in der Natur mal unter „Nature in Rheinzabern“ einsortiert, unter diesem Topic gibt's auch viele Kategorien, wie ich gesehen habe.
- Da ich noch einiges an Material hinzufügen werde, brauche ich eine vernünftige Sortierung. Nicht alles hat mit dem Ortskern zu tun, viele Bilder sind auch in der Gemarkung lokalisiert.
- BTW: Für eine Medienverwaltung ist ein Wiki der totale Mist … 🤦

- So bin ich über die Jahre auch vorgegangen (abschauen :-) ). Wenn Du weitere Fragen hast, bin ich gerne behilflich. Nutzerfreundlich finde ich die Kategorien auch nicht wirklich. Zwei Stellschrauben wären für mich: Multi-linguale Kategorien und ein gut sichtbarer Button, mit dem man sich in jeder Kategorie eine "flat list" an Bildern anschauen kann (wäre mMn immer dort hilfreich, wenn es sehr viele und spezifische Unterkategorien gibt). - Die Technik für multilinguale Kategorien wäre ja schon vorhanden, man könnte das problemlos über SDC abbilden. Letztendlich ist eine Kategorie auch nur eine ID, die man nur von ihrer Benennung trennen müsste. Viel besser fände ich jedoch eine vernünftige Verschlagwortung von Objekten, auch das kann man mit SDC gut abbilden. Zu einem Bild gibt es dann z. B. eine „Tag Cloud“ anhand der man sich durch Schnittmengen hindurchwühlen kann, bzw. sieht, welche Attribute des Objekts am prominentesten sind. Dass ich erst „Rheinzabern“ ins Suchfeld eingeben muss, um alle Bilder zum Begriff gelistet zu bekommen, ist schon ein bissl altbacken. Syntaxys (talk) 20:25, 1 July 2025 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Earth 2025 – Deutschland – Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme
Hallo Syntaxys/2025/July,
der Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth 2025 in Deutschland ist beendet. Im Rahmen der Kampagne haben 350 Teilnehmende 13.497 Fotos hochgeladen, die bereits über 1.000 Artikel in über 40 Wikipedia-Sprachversionen und Einträge auf Wikidata bebildern. Sämtliche Ergebnisse kannst du hier ansehen.
Um aus diesen Beiträgen die besten Fotos zu finden, läuft bis zum 16. August die Vorjury. Über Unterstützung bei dieser würden wir uns sehr freuen.
Die Siegerfotos werden voraussichtlich am 1. September verkündet.
Am 1. September 2025 startet zudem der Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments rund um Kultur- und Baudenkmäler. Fotografiere dafür jetzt schon die passenden Motive.
