Deutsch: Die Novemberszene im Stundenbuch Très Riches Heures des Duc de Berry, der berühmtesten Buchmalerei des französischen Mittelalters, zeigt den Austrieb der Schweine in den Wald für die Versinnbildlichung des Herbstes.
Français : La miniature représente une scène paysanne traditionnelle d'automne : la glandée. Un porcher, accompagné d'un molosse, fait paître un troupeau de porcs dans un bois de chênes. À l'aide d'un bâton qu'il jette, il frappe les branches pour en faire tomber les glands. Le porc, engraissé puis tué et salé, permettra de préparer l'hiver et de se nourrir toute l'année. On aperçoit à l'arrière-plan un château accroché aux rochers et une rivière qui serpente entre les montagnes bleuies.
