    • There are arguments that all sorts of police incidents are "public interest" in the sense that some part of the public is interested in them - shootings, arrests, investigations, robberies, etc. but that's not the same as "educational". Presumably every 4 hour public committee meeting from every town in every country in the world is also in the public interest in some way, but it seems hard to argue that cataloguing them here serves an educational purpose. There's room for disagreement, though, I know. For a shooting in particular, there are also COM:PEOPLE considerations even if it's in scope. COM:DIGNITY deals with these by talking about "extraordinary cases" where the educational value/public interest is so great that it outweighs moral issues. Isn’t it a little unfair when you think about it? This image clearly represents and touches on the same topic of “breeding,” yet it is being treated differently. In the context of this nomination for deletion on the grounds of vandalism, that inconsistency becomes even more concerning. Even if it is meant to be humorous or taken lightly, there is still an underlying double standard that does not sit right with me. Humor does not justify inconsistency, especially when the core idea behind both cases is essentially the same. Because of that, I cannot fully agree with this nomination for deletion as vandalism, as it feels more like a selective judgment rather than a fair and consistent application of the rules. This is clearly a biased decision against op, you have been on this website for 13 years and you are still targeting minorities based on your personal preferences. As an admin you should make more unbiased and ethical decisions that are not based off your racial preferences. Op is clearly mature enough for this to be an educated decision with no malicious intent involved; for you to make such rash accusations clearly hints at your bias and as such you should be demoted. The image involved clearly represents the topic of "breeding" yet you choose to accuse op of vandalism, is this too related to the topic of mating? Are you mature enough to make decisions based off your duty as an admin or will you continue to make biased uneducated decisions such as this one. See the log for File:競技疊杯套組.jpg, also uploaded by the same user, which a normal DR deleted. It was undeleted by Krd after VRT approval, but they deleted it again 7 minutes later citing the DR. File:Super Fantastic Sport Stacking Cup Set MIT.png also does not appear to be their own work; the Chinese text in the bottom right says "2400 yuan", making it likely to be an online sales picture (I assume that the VRT people didn't read Chinese).

I am also concerned about the uploader's edits on Chinese Wikipedia, which consist of hijacking the article for sport stacking thrice with obvious AI use (diff 1, 2, 3) and writing an improperly referenced draft. For the first part, they are already blocked for one week on that project.

If your employer published the photo without your permission, please, provide an evidence. They grant a license that allows anybody to use and/or republish the photo without time limits. And they cannot revoke the license. If they did grant the license illegally (eg. violating your rights), please, provide an evidence. Note also that volunteers operate within policies only: we cannot handle requests that are not policy-based. Personal autonomy and the right to be forgotten are fundamental to digital dignity. Forcing a subject to provide "evidence" of non-consent places an undue burden on the individual whose likeness is being utilized against their will. I uploaded the photo because Otago Uni took this photo through one of their contract photographers and made it available under a free license through the Hocken Collections. As long as this image continues to be available via that collection, the deletion request is pointless. If this gets deleted from the Hocken Collections, we could have a finer discussion about the merits of this case (presumably, the subject agreed to the photo being taken at the time, as it's clearly a staged photo; the photo has been released under CC-BY 4.0 and those licenses aren't revocable, etc). Hi Ziv! It's happened to me a couple of times that I upload photos from my new Samsung S25, which is a really good model these days. But when I upload these three different photos of the same flower, the app then automatically claims it's a new version of the file. It's a bug in the app's system, not my phone's. In this case, there's no "new version" of the three photos; they're all different. If you could fix this, I'd really appreciate it. While I can find vague information on this historical rebel union online, I did not find the flag used in this flag map; nor could I find claims about the exact borders of this uprising. What I did find was that these rebels constituted themselves in North Ossetia, had only weak control over some of what they regarded as their territory (again, whereever that was?) and that they were crushed after three months. A more stable and MUCH smaller successor entity with the same capital was apparently the en:Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus?

It is pretty hard to glean without any reference material; but unless I am very mistaken, the map outline claims that this state established control over today's Federated Southern Russia plus the whole Northern Caucasus; within these exact borders.
