Can an admin please add semi-protection to the following pages?

Request for semi-protection of User talk:JBW

There has recently been persistent vandalism on my talk page by a troll, using multiple accounts. The present outbreak of vandalism has been going on since 10 days ago, but there was similar trolling in the past, including in September and June 2025, which may or may not have been the same person. Apart from one trivial update by me, all editing of the page since July 2023 has been unconstructive editing such as vandalism and then edits to revert that unconstructive editing, so even a long-term protection would be unlikely to cause any collateral damage. I suggest semi-protection for at least a month, and personally I would go for more than that, perhaps 3 months. JBW (talk) 16:17, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

Hello! I would like to request that this page be protected from further editing. I created the original version of the file, but I later realized that the flag's colors were incorrect because I had been using a display calibrated for nighttime viewing. I updated the file to match the colors of the historical poster and the modern flags used during ceremonies (see the photos below). However, some users keep reverting my edits, arguing that the original colors were correct, even though they were clearly the result of my calibration error.

AbchyZa22

Some of you will probably remember AbchyZa22, who has been blocked on Commons for about 7 months. I have recently had some (pretty reasonable) email correspondence with them in which they have asked for an unblock, and I have their permission to share that correspondence. However, when I went to copy some of that to their user talk page I discovered that, at least according to Special:GlobalBlockList/AbchyZa22, they are globally blocked. Despite that, they have been successfully messages (about the correspondence) on my talk page on meta. Before I post to their user page, I'd like to understand what this means about the current status of their account: if they are globally blocked, how can they be leaving messages on that page?
