Copia fiel de unos apuntes tomados para el retrato del cacique Junchar por José del Pozo en Puerto Deseado, en 1789, durante la expedición de Malaspina (1789-1794). Los apuntes a lápiz citados anteriormente se conservan en el Museo Naval con la signatura ms. 1725 (9). Representa el busto de un indio patagón, de frente, con pieles sobre el hombro izquierdo, cinta en el pelo, rubio, con bigote y ojos claros. Ingresó en el Museo en 1932, con los fondos del Depósito Hidrográfico. |
