Deutsch: EM-Clusteranalyse auf einem Datensatz mit Gauss-verteilten Clustern. Die Daten wurden nach dem gleichen Modell erzeugt, dass der EM-Algorithmus zur Modellierung der Daten verwendet. Daher ist es nicht überraschend, dass das Ergebnis nahezu perfekt ist, denn genau so wurden die Daten ja auch generiert. (Daher sollte man diesen Datensatz nicht als Beispiel für die Vorteile von EM verwenden!)
Visualisiert mit ELKI. English: Cluster analysis with EM on a gaussian-distribution-based data set. Since the data was generated with the same kind of model - gaussian distributions - that EM uses for clustering, the result is close to perfect (the dataset is very favorable for EM clustering, and should not be taken as an example for the benefits of using EM over other methods).
