English: Name: Sderot - the beginning of her journey Description: Sderot - the beginning of her journey עברית: שם: שדרות - בראשית דרכה תיאור: שדרות - בראשית דרכה הערות: עיר בצפון הנגב המערבי. הוקמה ב1951 והוכרזה כעיר ב1996. שמה לציון האקליפטוסים שנטעו על ידי הקק"ל לאורך כבישי הנגב. ב1951 הוקמה במקום מעברת אוהלים ואחר צריפי העץ. ב 1955 התגוררו במעברה כ-400 נפש. ב1955 היו 150 יחידות דיור בבנייה בבתים דו קומתיים. משפחות פלשו לדירות. ב1955 הגיעו משפחות רבות של עולים מצפון אפריקה. בשנות ה-50 קלטה שדרות עולים רבים ממרוקו ומרומניה, ובשנות ה-90 קלטה שדרות עולים מאתיופיה וממדינות ברית המועצות לשעבר. ב7 באוקטובר 2023 מחבלי חמאס רצחו במקום עשרות שוטרים ואזרחים. מיקום: שדרות מעלה הצילום: ישראל פרקר מקור הצילום: ארכיון שדרות קובץ מקורי: 1961-2.jpg |
