English: The stele with Qianlong Emperor's words, "卢沟晓月" ("Morning Moon over the Lugou (River)"), near the eastern end of Marco Polo Bridge (Lugou Bridge). Behind this stele one can see an older stele, carried on the back of an eroded bixi tortoise; that one commemorates Kangxi Emperor's rebuilding of the bridge.
