Description
English: This picture is taken near the village of Sainj Valley in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh. These Himachali cookware pieces are used to cook rice, kitchdi, lentils, and also to boil water. Traditionally, they're made of brass due to its good quality and durability. However, with modern cookware around, they're hardly used now. To some extent, it denotes a cultural transformation in the state.
हिन्दी: यह तस्वीर हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू ज़िले की सैंज घाटी के पास स्थित एक गाँव के समीप ली गई है। ये पारंपरिक हिमाचली रसोई के बर्तन चावल, खिचड़ी, दाल पकाने तथा पानी उबालने के लिए इस्तेमाल किए जाते थे। परंपरागत रूप से ये बर्तन पीतल से बनाए जाते थे, जो अपनी मज़बूती और टिकाऊपन के लिए जाना जाता है। आधुनिक रसोई के बर्तनों के प्रचलन के कारण अब इनका उपयोग बहुत कम रह गया है। ये बर्तन हिमाचल प्रदेश में हो रहे सांस्कृतिक परिवर्तन और जीवन-शैली में आए बदलाव को दर्शाते हैं।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ: ਇਹ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲੂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀ ਸੈਂਜ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੋਲ ਖਿੱਚੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਿਮਾਚਲੀ ਰਸੋਈ ਦੇ ਬਰਤਨ ਚੌਲ, ਖਿਚੜੀ, ਦਾਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਬਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
