Summary

Description
English: :Great nugget 0.55 mm long of pure, analyticaly confirmed by microprobe native TITANIUM composed by its sceletal crystals (dendrites) from the First scoria cone, Northern Breakthrough, Great Fissure Eruption, Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka peninsula Russian Federation.
Titanium is, without any doubt, one of the rarest native elements ever discovered, and a treasure for collectors of Group I Elements.
This is part of material described in the article Glavatskih S.F., Gorshkov A.I., e.a. (1992) Natural analogue of α-Titanium in exhalations products of Big Fissure Tolbachik Eruption (Kamchatka). Doklady RAN, 327, №1, pp. 126-130 (in Russian).
Analysed with SEM and EDX spectrum, performed by Pavel Kartashov.
