English: Bitter leaf soup also know as Onugbu soup in Igbo language. This is the favourite soup of the Igbos found in anambra state .
It is a delicious soup enriched in al sought of vitamins. as the ingredients used in preparing the meat, dry fish, stock fish, cray fish, bitter leaf, cocoyam for thickening, oil and fermented melon. Though the vegetable is bitter, the bitterness is severely washed off before use. This soup is best eaten with pounded yam. Igbo: Ofe akwukwo ilu a makwaara dika ofe Onugbu n'asusu igbo. Nke a bụ ofe kacha amasị ndị Igbo na steeti anambra .
