Standing at this location in 2007, the Harbour Steps would be where this photo shows a street to the right; the Seattle Art Museum would be directly behind you. The text on the page describes the Denny-Coryell Company as "the largest printing and stationery concern in the Northwest." It occupied two floors of the building. At the near corner of the building was a post office. Signs visible on building say:
There is also an illegible sign in a ground floor window near the center of the building. Building was also known at various times as the Arlington Hotel, Bay Building, and Gilmore and Kirkman's Block. |
