The current version looks... outdated, becuz it was last updated in 2011, so I made a newer version of it. Please allow me to replace the current version with the version I made in 2026.

Hello,

As agreed with the original author Mediatus on his user talk page, I would like to overwrite these 7 SVG files with a version where I flattened the deeply nested groups. Thank you for checking, just so you understand why we request it: We have several problems reminding everyone to not use our old logo/logo without the ATP logo. Yes please rename it and also there shouldn't be written "current" anymore. These are the ones I uploaded already one in black(pos), one white(neg), or do they need to be uploaded as svg?

No it's not that. I update the 2026 ATL/EPAC maps every 12 hours with the 6 hour ATCF and the owner of the WPAC map updates it only after every storm dissipates. OreoStar-fait (talk) 00:54, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

@Abzeronow Meow revoked the overwriting template you included on Noul 2026 path. Apparently the allow overwriting template is included in a separate template that's used for their images, but it fails to work properly. OreoStar-fait (talk) 04:27, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

Yeah it was already on 06E aswell and I had to add a second one. I think bundling templates inside other templates may break their functionaslity if whats going on is Allow Overwriting is bundled in the WPTC template. Dragonzgikil (talk) 14:55, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

Allow overwriting of 27 different New York gubernatorial and presidential election maps

These are the maps:

I've corrected borders for all 27 of these maps. There are border changes that occurred in years after some, if not all of these maps, that are incorrectly shown here, specifically involving the counties of Saint Lawrence and Franklin, Hamilton and Essex, Allegany and Livingston, Queens (now Nassau) and Suffolk, and New York and Westchester (now Bronx). Take your time on this. There's another minor border change (South Brother Island in April 1964 from Queens to the Bronx) that I caught that occurred in 1964 as well as a Queens/Nassau border that was different in 1898 so there's another 81 files that I have ready to update...

If viewed closely, such as on a graphics editor software like Inkscape, one may notice that the old borders have been altered in a rough and almost rushed manner. (They were altered following the 2025 province merger in Vietnam)

Certain parts of the province borders either have gaps, undershoots/overshoots or some combination of the two. Original editor must've removed parts of the paths without cleaning up the errors.

I went on Inkscape to fix the borders and went to overwrite the new, edited images and only then did I realize I had to receive the autopatrol right to actually do so. Blueconcorde (talk) 17:36, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
