Defining a "public place"

"Public place" is very vague and unclear wording. Does this mean inside public buildings, such as museums, or does it mean only on public land (i. e., where one has access to the area 24/7)? Dunkleosteus77 (talk) 01:38, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

The definitions are taken from the laws of each country. Some are vague, some explicitly refer only to outdoors places such as parks and squares, and others include the interiors of buildings accessible to the public, such as museums. In some cases the law refers to works that are visible from public places, even if they are not situated on public land, typical of most buildings. Luxembourg

Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Luxembourg is missing from this page. It tries to use Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Lëtzebuerg, which doesn't exist, but I have no idea why it's doing that. Sweden formatting
