| Description |
One of my first attempts at HDR or tonemapping. I took 3 exposures (Aperture priority) using my Nikon D50 and used Photomatix 4.2 to merge them together, applied the preset option "Painterly", didn't make any detail adjustments apart from applying mild contrast and medium sharpening afterwards. When I look at the original exposures, they are quite bland but put them together, they look quite good. I tried to avoid making the final composite overcooked or unreal looking. I want to come back later when the leaves are back on the trees, the sky is pinkish orange and a new camera. |
