English: This is the parent category of location maps of all types. A location map is a Equalarea projection upon which a computerized location dot and optional label can be overlayed, as opposed to a locator map, which has fixed dots and annotations.
- Those that have been made in the German Kartenwerkstatt (Map Lab) with a new standard graphic or by compatible standards are subcategorized within category:Location maps (2008 standard).
