While some of the shorts are from 1929, the title cards have no distinctive additions or creative enough to be copyrighted in comparison to the 1928 works Plane Crazy, Gallopin' Gaucho and Steamboat Willie, as a result they are too in the public domain. This does not mean the shorts in full are public domain, only these title cards.
