Description
English: Firestop caulking being applied to building joint between underside of structural steel beam and head of concrete block wall. Since the beam was not fireproofed, the exercise is more an environmental control issue rather than fire protection.
Deutsch: Silikonkautschuck, DIN4102 B2, wird in eine Baufuge zwischen einen Stahlträger und einer Mauer angebracht. Dies sollte eine Brandschutzfunktion haben, aber man hat dabei den Brandschutz für den Träger aus Kostengründen unterlassen, daher Brandrate 0.
